Super Bowl

There is only one thing I'd like to point out about this Super Bowl. They have not stopped talking about how good Larry Fitzgerald is all week, and rightfully so. He may be the best receiver in the NFL. But in my opinoin, Anquan Boldin is not far behind. In fact, he averaged more receptions and more touchdowns per game than Fitz, and the yardage was essentially equal 86 ypg vs. 89.

For some reason the media have completely overlooked him in the Super Bowl hype. I'm not suggesting that the Steelers are as foolish as the media. They will know they have to stop both receivers. But don't be surprised if Boldin has a bigger game than Fitz tonight. I've watched a lot of the Cardinals this year (Warner was my fantasy QB) and while Fitz is incredible at making a big play and going up and getting a jump ball, it was Boldin who was the heart and soul of this offense most of the year.

One final point: Before being switched to wide receiver, Boldin played quarterback at Florida State. Wisenhunt loves trick plays... Just food for thought.
